UNICEF

The website that I used to imagine a community engagement program is http://www.unicefusa.org. UNICEF "works in more than 190 countries and territories to save and improve children's lives, providing health care and immunizations, clean water and sanitation, nutrition, education, emergency relief and more."

My fun, large scale, idea is to design vatican sized UNICEF compounds in EVERY major city, which would host massive health care facilities, food stores, teachers, and every facility or personnel they would need. 

The realistic idea would somewhat similar to their new app, where a sponsor helps provide clean water to children dependent on the length of time a user does not touch their mobile device. In my version, we would have to partner with FitBit or Nike+. For every 1,000 miles you walk, a sponsor donates $1 to UNICEF. This provides more incentive for people to exercise and passively donate money: because people would rather passively donate than actively.

The website that I used to imagine a community engagement program is http://www.revelpittsburgh.com/.  Revel is a company which attempts to aggregate information about activities for senior citizens to utilize.

My large scale, fun idea is to create a fleet of "bingo bus'".  Each bus would have EMTs on board and sirens equipped in case of an accident.  Each bus would have a different activity, and it would travel around picking people up and dropping them off all day.  That way seniors could easily get access to activities they want without having to coordinate travel.

The more realistic version is a fleet of drivers which pick up people when they are called and deliver them to activities which they want to go to.

this was an interesting project because i have never been able to successfully
plan out what i want to do in such a short period of time. only issue was that due to that
fact i was unable to finish my metal. In addition, my phone broke, leaving me with some interesting ways of documenting my process
